Pastor Steve Pearson met the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior on May 10, 1972 in a small Methodist Church in Pendleton, South Carolina. A radical transformation followed. Over the next years Steve worked with Campus Crusade, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and as a youth pastor in a number of churches. Degrees were earned from Oral Roberts University and Asbury Seminary.
Steve loves sports, chess, reading, travel, history, the Atlanta Braves and the Clemson Tigers. But his real passions are seeking God, loving his wife (Sue) and sons (Josh and Adam), winning people to Christ and equipping people for service to the Lord Jesus Christ. His life verse is John 17:4 which was given to him the night he was called into vocational ministry on June 10, 1974 at 11:10 pm while a life guard at Myrtle Beach. This verse quotes some of Jesus’ last words: “I have glorified Thee on earth, and accomplished what Thou hast given Me to do.” Steve counts it a great privilege to have served as Church of the Savior’s Senior Pastor since June 27, 1993. |

From 1966 until 2002, Glenn Cravens had a successful career in the lodging industry. However, in 2002, God had other plans for Glenn as he sold his hotel and retired from the lodging industry. He then joined the staff of Church of the Savior, where he’d been a faithful part since its organization in 1988, on a part-time volunteer basis.
As a former hotel owner, who earned the CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) designation through the American Hotel Motel Association and having served on the International Operators Council of Choice Hotels International, this gave Glenn excellent administrative skills and experience that God now wanted to use for ministry.
In 2003, he was hired part time as Executive Pastor and in January of 2005 that became a full time position for him. His duties include Pastoral Care, Missions Pastor, and Administration. Glenn has served Church of the Savior as Chairman of the Elders, Usher, Care Ministry Greeter, Evangelism and visitation team, and member of the missions committee. He has also served as a board member and a volunteer team leader with Go InterNational, a mission’s agency based in Wilmore, KY. In 2008, Glenn was ordained by the Elder Board of Church of the Savior. |

| Pastor Will Stice’s passion has always been music – teaching guitar, playing and singing in various bands, and even soloing on classical guitar with the Jackson Purchase Philharmonic orchestra.
Will turned his life over to the Lord in 1992, and at that time, devoted his music skills to playing and singing exclusively for the glory of the Lord while earning a living in professional sales and management. Will joined the membership here at COS in 1999 and immediately got involved playing and singing with our praise team – the Levites. On a retreat in 2005, the Lord put a strong calling on Will’s heart to become a music pastor and give his life to full time music ministry. In 2006, after a time of “seasoning”, the Father opened up the position at Church of the Savior – and the rest is history.
Pastor Will’s duties here at COS include leading our praise band (the Levites), directing our choirs and special events, and overseeing all video and sound technology.

Sue Pearson is one of seven children from Seneca, South Carolina. After high school she did a tour in the Air Force as an operating room technician. She completed a BA in early childhood education from the University of South Carolina and an MA in elementary education from Clemson University. She was teaching public school when she married Steve on June 29, 1980.
She accepted the Lord as a teenager and has found a growing relationship with him ever since. She and Steve have partnered in ministry while serving in four Kentucky churches since 1983. In addition to serving as a pastor’s wife, she home-schooled their two sons. Her spiritual gifts are teaching, serving, and hospitality. She serves as the Director of Children’s ministry at the Church of the Savior. Sue’s life verse is Galatians 2:20 which states, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.”
